This is a durable, sturdy felt mat.
The white sprinkles of wool neps contrasts strongly with the black background, and the light-colored fibers in the lower layer rise to the surface, giving it a deep, deep black.

Soak the mat in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent for about 30 minutes. Gently squeeze and rinse, then spin for about 1 minute. Shape the mat and hang it to dry. When shaping, apply a small amount of lanolin cream to your hands and stroke the entire mat for a beautiful sheen and enhanced water and dirt repellency.
